The Machame route is currently the most popular route for climbers. The reason for this popularity is beauty and success rate. The route offers a wide variety of views, landscapes and experiences. The start point of the route is Machame Gate which is only 40 minutes` drive from Moshi town. The route starting at Machame gate will lead you the top along an exciting footpath which starts at the tropical forest and then runs through all the climate zones and finishes at the Arctic Zone.

Arrival and transfer to Hotel on Bed/Breakfast basis
Trek from Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Machame Camp to Shira Cave
Shira Cave to Baranco via lava Tower
Baranco to Barafu base camp. Light dinner to Barafu and then prepare to go up to the top.
In the hours around 1:00am for the summit arrive at the summit by sunset. Celebrate take pictures and then start descent to Mweka Camp.
Transfer to airport to some other activity
